(1.5k) and Cravant les Coteaux (1.5k) in the heart of the Chinon Vineyards.
Situated in the hamlet of Chezelet - bordered by the River Vienne and the Forest of
Chinon - it provides an ideal base for visiting the majestic chateaux of the Loire Valley
- the chateaux of Azay-le-Rideau, Usse, Langeais, Amboise, Loches, Chenonceau,
Villandry, Saumur and Chinon are all within easy reach.
Tours - the regional capital - is about 35k/half an hour by car away.
Over the last few years there has been an increase in low cost air travel to the region -
there are airports at Tours, Poitiers, Angers and Nantes - all airports have car hire
available.
Paris is 1 hour from Tours by TGV and from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Tours is 1 hour
30 mins. If you are holidaying by car, France has an excellent motorway (autoroute)
network that is quiet compared with the UK - links to airline/car hire/ferry
